Enver Y\u00fccel was born in 1957 in Giresun and he completed his study as a boarding student at Hayarpa\u015fa High School. Then, he graduated from the Department of Mathematics, \u0130stanbul Atat\u00fcrk Education Institute which is known as the Marmara University, Faculty of Education today.<\/p>\n
Since 1974, Enver Y\u00fccel, who devoted all his life to education, provides the educational services to students in many countries of the world for especially Turkey.<\/p>\n
Y\u00fccel, who considers the education as the most important problem that needs to be solved in the world, defines the field of education as a social responsibility area in the scope of this aim. Y\u00fccel, who offers educational support by providing scholarships to students from the different geographies of the world -from Morocco to Djibouti, from Somalia to the Middle East- in his own intitutions, believes that this condition brings peace to the world.<\/p>\n
Today, Enver Y\u00fccel is the Chairman of the Executive Board of Bah\u00e7e\u015fehir U\u011fur Educational Institutions, which educate in Turkey and abroad. Bah\u00e7e\u015fehir U\u011fur Educational Institutions incorporate U\u011fur Schools, Bah\u00e7e\u015fehir Colleges, Science and Technology High Schools, and Bahcesehir University (1998), BAU International University Washington D.C.(2014), BAU International University Berlin (2013), BAU International Batumi (2015), BAU International University Cyprus (2017) under BAU Global. Bah\u00e7e\u015fehir U\u011fur Educational Institutions, which provides education to students more than 150.000, was established in a private teaching institution with three classrooms in Laleli, \u0130stanbul in 1974.<\/p>\n
Y\u00fccel, using this experience obtained in the U\u011fur Education Institute, which has more than 100 schools in Turkey today, for becoming prevalent of the private education institutions, activated the Bah\u00e7e\u015fehir College in 1994. Y\u00fccel, who turned the College into an institution providing education in European standards, continued to operate only in the field of education.<\/p>\n
In 2006, Enver Y\u00fccel founded Turkey\u2019s first and only Bah\u00e7e\u015fehir Science and Technology High School and he provides education to all students, who are among the first 100 students for high school entrance exam, with one hundred percent scholarship in order to train the scientists of the future as Bah\u00e7e\u015fehir U\u011fur Educational Foundation.<\/p>\n
Bahcesehir Colleges, which has been established with the aim of creating equal opportunities in education and making the quality education widespread in Turkey, leads the quality education with 130 campuses, 13 Science and Technology High Schools and 15 science museums across Turkey.<\/p>\n
In 2013, Enver Y\u00fccel started the one of Turkey\u2019s most important educational projects and carried into effect his institutions under the name of U\u011fur Schools. U\u011fur Schools, having 26 campuses and 136 schools, aim to reach his school number to 200 within the three years.<\/p>\n
In 2004, Enver Y\u00fccel took the first step to perform the vision in the way of becoming a world brand and opened the U\u011fur Education in order to prepare the sudents for the SAT (Scholastic Apitude Test) exams in the United States. The education cooperation between Bah\u00e7e\u015fehir U\u011fur Educational Institutions and United States is also opened the way of teachers export.<\/p>\n
Bahcesehir University, founded by Y\u00fccel in 1998, today continues its works in order to become a global university.
\nBAU Global is a broad education network consisting of 5 universities, 3 language schools, 4 academic centers and 1 boarding school located in 8 different countries around the world.<\/p>\n
BAU Global education network has more than 160 academic programs and company partnerships with more than 1800 CO-OP agreements.<\/p>\n
The universities under BAU Global are; Bahcesehir University Istanbul, BAU Global Berlin, BAU Global Washington DC, BAU Global Batumi and BAU Global Cyprus. In these universities, undergraduate and graduate educations from different countries in the world are carried out.<\/p>\n
Fulford Academy in Brockville, Ontario Canada is a boarding school within BAU Global Network. Fulford Academy provides the secondary school and high school level education, and also organizes the summer education programs.<\/p>\n
Bahcesehir University Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Enver Y\u00fccel, was granted the award of \u201cPerfection in Education\u201d by the International American Educators Association (PDK) in 2012 for his successes in the design and implementation of innovative and personal education and training programs, and contributions to international education. Y\u00fccel received his award from Phi Delta Kappa (PDK) New York University (NYU) Head of Department Dr. Lind K. Patterson and Co-Head of Department Gene J. Mann.<\/p>\n
Enver Y\u00fccel was granted the award of the \u201cContribution to Global Education\u201d in the UNCA Awards hosted by the United Nations General Secretary Ban Ki-moon in 2014. Enver Y\u00fccel, the first Turkish person to receive this award in the world, received his award from Ban Ki-moon himself.<\/p>\n
In 2015, Foedus Foundation in Italy awarded Enver Y\u00fccel, Bahcesehir University the Chairman of the Board of Trustees, with the \u201cFoedus Special Award\u201d for his contributions to education. In 2016, Y\u00fccel had speeches about the refugee problem and discussed what should be done about it during a session within the scope of the 46th year meetings of the World Economic Forum in Davos. He emphasized that education is the solution for this problem. In 2017, Enver Y\u00fccel was deemed worthy of the \u201cLeadership in Global Education\u201d award by the Global Education and Research Center (GLOCER) in the USA for his works in the field of education.<\/p>\n
Enver Y\u00fccel, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Bahcesehir University, believes in the importance of the global education. In this respect, Bahcesehir University was granted the award of the championship as two times in a row in the \u201cEducation Export\u201d category in the Awards of 500 Major Exporters of Turkey given by the Turkish Exporters Assembly within the years of 2017 and 2018.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
