İSTANBUL – Bahçeşehir College announced that, by introducing the Digital World School project, students can participate in their lectures with their iPads. It is said that students can participate with their tablets and reinforce their knowledge in this way.
Bahçeşehir College cooperated with Apple and started the Digital World School project in its schools. With this system, students can participate to lectures in class with their iPads, which is being taught on the board. The lectures can sometimes be given with the help of films and animation.
The system of Digital World School with the cooperation of Apple and Bahçeşehir College, is announced to the students at the meeting. In his speech, Bahçeşehir Uğur Education Institutions Chairman, Enver Yücel emphasized that the development and changes in technology have led to a new era in education. Yücel said that, “We give importance to educational technologies. We are using technology in all of our schools – from our preschools to our university. We are following the innovations and competing with the world. We created a cloud system to compete with the world. While taking this huge step, we chose to cooperate with Apple and to use iPad. The system that we developed will be used not only in Turkey, but in the whole world.”
Enver Yücel – who claimed that with educational technologies, quality is always improving, said that, “All the students should utilize from qualified education in order to sustain equal opportunity in education. Taking advantage of qualified education is every students’ right.”
