Surprise Teacher’s Day Cake for Enver Yücel
Enver Yucel, the president of Board of Trustees of Bahçeşehir Ugur Education Institutions and Bahçeşehir University who travelled to Germany to carry out a series of negotiations with regard to international campuses celebrated “Teacher’s Day” of the academicians in BAU Cologne Academy. Yucel had conversation with Oznur Ozcan, BAU Cologne Academy Director and other Turkish and German academicians and received information regarding German Education system and the studies of academicians. Afterwards Yucel cut the cake specially prepared for himself with a photo of him and following phrases “The key to develop our country and catch up with the level of contemporary civilization and to follow the path guided by Mustafa Kemal Ataturk is quality education. I celebrate teacher’s day of our teachers who strive to provide quality education for our children around every corner of Turkey” together with the students of BAU Children’s Club.

Enver Yücel was born in 1957 in Giresun and he studied at Hayarpaşa High School that was a boarding school. After he graduated from the Mathematics Department of the Atatürk Education Institute at Marmara University, which is now known as the Marmara University Faculty of Education.
