Bahçeşehir University Washington Campus has opened
WASHINGTON- With the adoption of the “My Campus is World” motto, Bahçeşehir University (BAU) opens academic centers and campuses around the world and its mostrecent destination is the United States of America’s capital city, Washington D.C.
The guests of the opening ceremony of the Washington, D.C. campus, which is located 200 meters away from the White House, were the European Union Minister and Chief Negotiator, Egemen Bağış, TOBB President, Rıfat Hisarcıklıoğlu, TÜSİAD President, Muharrem Yılmaz, TİM President, Mehmet Büyükekşi, Akfen Holding Chairman of the Board, Hamdi Akın, Pegasus Chairman of the Board, Ali Sabancı, Businessman Zeynel Abidin Erdem, the U.S. Department of Education Counselor Maureen McLoughin, Harriet Fulbright, and UNESCO Culture Ambassador, Ester Coopersmith.
The first investment of Bahçeşehir Uğur Education Institution in the United States of America launched with a language school in Washington, D.C. in 2004, and now Bahçeşehir University raised the bar and opened a campus in the capital. The BAU Washington, D.C. campus is neighbor to the White House, which is a national symbol. With this campus, both students from Turkey and all over the world will have the opportunity for a global education

Enver Yücel was born in 1957 in Giresun and he studied at Hayarpaşa High School that was a boarding school. After he graduated from the Mathematics Department of the Atatürk Education Institute at Marmara University, which is now known as the Marmara University Faculty of Education.
