BAU International University Washington DC Performed Its First Graduation Ceremony

BAU International University Washington DC, an American university that was opened last year in the capital of the U.S.: Washington DC, performed its first graduation ceremony.

The graduation, which took place in Washington, had many businessman and press as guests alongside Turkey’s ambassador in Washington Serdar Kılıç, Bahçeşehir Uğur Educational Institutions Head of the Board Enver Yücel and members of Bahçeşehir University board of trustees. BAU International University Washington DC, which accepted its first students in 2014 to its Business Master Program MBA, produced fourteen graduates. Besides the MBA program, the university has departments on global relations and law of economics, that 75 students continue their education in.

BAU International University Washington DC Rector, Assistant Professor Sinem Vatanartıran, pointing out the excitement of the first graduation said, “We provided serious amounts of scholarships since they were our first group of students.” Bahçeşehir Uğur Educational Institutions Head of the Board Enver Yücel stated that students were provided with scholarships worth of one million dollars last year and reported that the scholarship budget for the 2015-2016 academic terms is up to one million and eight hundred thousand dollars. The aim for the university is to open up bachelor and masters programs in disciplines such as; law, psychology, cyber security and financial technology.
