Students Are Getting Education as a World Citizen

Enver Yücel said that, if an organization or institution haven’t adopt global point of view, there is no tomorrow for them and added “We are giving education in Berlin, Silicon Valley, Toronto, Hong Kong and finally in Washington DC and raising our students as world citizens. We are thinking that institutions and people with no perception of global view have no tomorrow. That is why we are giving education, chance of experience and observation in different areas and countries instead of giving in one center.

 

Bahçeşehir University Washington DC campus opening ceremony guest Rector Prof. Dr. Şenay Yalçın pointed out that, in many areas and mostly in science and technology field we go beyond the boundaries and it is now needed to build permanent bridges between countries and institutions. Yalçın; “Globalization process renders mandatory for university student, to have the ability to work out of their national boundary and in any point around the world. For this reason, in graduate education, international expansions and developments become an inevitably true. In this consciousness, we are searching for a new member for Bahçeşehir University family. He lastly added that our Washington DC campus not only be a place to learn the American culture deeply and to learn English in its hometown but also to have education in several fields.
