Contribution to Global Education Award goes to Enver Yücel
Bahçeşehir University Board of Trustees Chairman, Enver Yücel receives the Contribution to the Global Education at the 5th World Educational Sciences Conference held at Sapienza University of Rome.
There were numerous participants coming from all over the world at the conference including civil organizations, researchers, experts, scientists, students, managers.
Enver Yücel has been awarded the “Contribution to Global Education” award due to his great effort and investments in the education world. After receiving his award from Turkey Vatican Ambassador Kenan Gürsoy, he said, “This conference is highly crucial even though there is a crisis in Europe. Turkey is used to these crises. We have never stopped education during crises but invested more because the solution for crises lies in education. That is the reason why there should be world citizenship.”

Enver Yücel was born in 1957 in Giresun and he studied at Hayarpaşa High School that was a boarding school. After he graduated from the Mathematics Department of the Atatürk Education Institute at Marmara University, which is now known as the Marmara University Faculty of Education.
